AN EARLY flurry of goals proved Westbury's downfall on Wednesday as they failed to recover from a first half to forget.
Shrewton raced into a 4-1 lead by 34 minutes and Westbury's fortunes were worsened minutes later when James Dowd was dismissed for dissent.
To Westbury's credit they fought back and even pulled a goal back through Matty Bown after the break.
Shaun Collins put Shrewton ahead on 19 minutes but Wayne Wheeler levelled for Westbury almost immediately.
Shrewton's other goals came from Michael Ball, Jesse Walters and Collins.
