A TEN-YEAR-OLD footballer will follow in his brother's footsteps after winning the chance to showcase his talent at one of the World's most famous football clubs.
Jordan Turnbull, 10, of Trowbridge, has earned himself a trial at Manchester United after winning a Bobby Charlton Soccer Skills competition.
The Grove School pupil saw off more than 100 youngsters, aged eight to 16, at Leafy Lane, Corsham, to win the chance of a lifetime, after seeing brother Jamie Young, 16, win the same event four years ago. Jordan is currently playing for the school of excellence at Swindon Town and as well as getting the chance to train at United will be given two tickets to watch a game of his choice at Old Trafford.
His father, Justin Turnbull, said he always believed his son would repeat Jamie's success.
He said: "I just had a feeling that Jordan would do it after seeing Jamie win it a few years ago. I am so proud of both of them.
"The best thing about it is I will be the one going with him to the United game so I can't really complain can I?
"It will be a great experience for him to go there and play at United's training ground and will be something he can always remember."
