MELKSHAM Town Youth enhanced their championship hopes with a home win against Westbury Youth in the under 15s Green Division of the Wiltshire Times and Chippenham News Mid-Wilts Youth and Minor League .
Melksham went 3-0 ahead at the break but were denied extending their lead in the second half by an outstanding performance from the Westbury keeper.
Mike Smith, Ross Crighton and Pete Tye scored for Melksham.
Devizes Blues and Melksham Town Youth 2nds both created chances but failed to make them count, resulting in a 0-0 final score.
A midtable clash saw Pewsey Vale and Warminster Highbury cancel each other out. Pewsey took the lead through Zak Mayer, with Highbury drawing level before the interval. Pewsey regained the lead through Jack Bower (penalty) in the second half before Highbury equalised to end the game at 2-2.
RGV Netheravon celebrated their second win of the season by running out 5-3 winners at home to Worton and Cheverell. James Breslin (2), Rob Bailey (2) and Jamie Castle scored for RGV.
Under 15s Red Division
MATTHEW Fox scored one of the the quickest goals of the season when he gave Trowbridge Wanderers the lead against Bradford on Avon in under 10 seconds.
Wanderers continued to dominate and were 6-0 ahead at half-time.
Bradford held fast in the second half, denying Wanderers any advance on their lead and at the same time getting on the score sheet through Stuart Jones to end the game at 6-1.
Wanderers' other goals came from Ashley Pike, Nathan Ball (2) and Sam Stevens (2).
Under 15s Blue Division
GREENMEADOW edged ahead against FC Chippenham but the visitors were soon level before going on to lead 3-1 at the break.
Greenmeadow were back in it at 3-2 but Chippenham quickly restored their two goal advantage. Greenmeadow battled on and in the 60th minute narrowed the deficit to 4-3.
Chris Smith (2), Marc Nolan and Jack Woollens scored for Chippenham.
Frome Town Sports earned their third win of the season with a 7-3 away win over Salisbury City.
Under 17s League Cup
CHIPPENHAM Town Youth remain unbeaten and have booked their place in this season's final after running out 4-0 home winners over Marlborough Town.
After a close first half Chippenham took a narrow 1-0 lead. The second half saw them step up a gear netting a further three goals to finish 4-0 victors. Luke Holborough scored a hat-trick and Ben Thomas added a single.
Salisbury City remain in second place after running out 2-0 winners away to Cricklade Youth.
Under 16s Red Division
MARLBOROUGH Town and visitors Castle Combe played out an even first half which ended at 2-2.
After the break Marlborough upped the pace but were unlucky to concede from a free kick to end the game at 3-2 to Castle Combe. Joe Brace (2) scored for Marlborough.
Under 14s Blue Division
TROWBRIDGE Town Youth narrowed the gap at the top of the table to just one point after running out 7-0 winners against Amesbury Juniors.
Liam Flowers (3), James Vince, Tom Bonser, Tom A'Court and Jamie Amaruso scored for Trowbridge.
Under 14s Red Division
IN a midtable clash Amesbury Juniors took all the points with a convincing 9-1 away win against Melksham Town Youth.
James Kenny (3), James Wright (2), James Tsolisi, Cory Knowles and Chris Raymond scored for Amesbury, with Demado Hamilton replying for Melksham.
FC Chippenham took a half-time lead of 5-2 in their away game against White Horse Juniors, going on to finish 8-3 winners and runners up in the division.
Jack Tyzack-Smith (2), Elliott Corp (2), Ben Pantry (3) and Aidan Murphy scored for Chippenham.
Under 13s Blue Division
TROWBRIDGE Wanderers strengthened their lead at the top of the table after running out 9-2 winners against local adversaries Trowbridge Town Youth.
Wanderers wrapped the game up in the first half, netting five goals without reply.
Wanderers continued their goal spree in the second half but Town never gave up and managed to breach Wanderers' defence on two occasions. Wanderers' goals came from Declan Harrison (4), Jordan Moore (3) and Skip Ayoub.
Warminster Highbury took a 2-0 lead against visitors Trowbridge Wanderers 2nds but the visitors were back in the game at 2-1 just before the interval.
After the break Highbury increased their lead before going on to finish 4-1 winners. Aaron Tauge (2), Ed Colborne and Carl Crabtree scored for Highbury.
Under 13s Red Division
DEVIZES Town Youth moved to the top of the table following their away win against Melksham Park.
Devizes took the lead but this was cancelled out before the break by Tom Crabtree.
Devizes controlled the second half, scoring a further three to finish 4-1 winners. Kieran Chivers, Jack Hopper, Jamie Wallen and Jay Roberts scored for Devizes.
Worton and Cheverell finished the season a respectable third place in the division following their 7-2 win against Sherston Youth.
Alex Harrod 93), Tom Mason (2), Joe Waterman and Jamie Sperring scored for Worton.
Under 11s Division A
BATH Arsenal strengthened their championship challenge by running out 5-2 winners against Trowbridge Town Youth.
Corey Smitherman and Kieran Mccaldon scored for Trowbridge.
FC Chippenham remain six points clear at the top following their 6-2 home win against Warminster Highbury.
Chippenham dominated the first half, taking a 3-0 lead at the break. The second half evened out with three more goals for Chippenham with two replies.
Jamie Rodrigez (3), Matthew Stevens (2) and Oliver Glover scored for Chippenham.
Bradford on Avon stormed into a 4-0 lead at the interval in their home game against AFC Corsham. The tide turned in the second half seeing Corsham take the game to 4-3 before time ran out for them. Bradford's goals came from Daniel Timbell and a hat-trick for Steve Grant.
Under 11s Division B
WESTBURY Youth took the lead in their home game against White Horse Juniors but this was soon cancelled out with White Horse equalising before the break.
The second half saw Westbury regain the lead before going on to finish 7-2 victors.
Thomas Blackman (3), Bradley Lewis (2), Stan Trigg and William Bryant scored for Westbury, with Ben Wickens scoring both goals for White Horse.
Under 11s Division C
NATHAN Merritt gave Chippenham Town Rangers a 2-0 lead in their home match but Trowbridge Wanderers were back in the game before the interval.
Rangers tried to build on their advantage but were kept out by some resolute defending by the visitors and with 10 minutes to go Wanderers brought the game level to salvage a point.
Under 11s Division D
BRADFORD on Avon took a 1-0 lead against FC Chippenham after a powerful shot by Ben Phillips was parried by the keeper for Ollie Beard to pick up on the rebound.
Chippenham fought their way back into the game and scored an equaliser after Bradford failed to defend from a cross.
The second half was closely contested with Chippenham pushing for their second, but this allowed Bradford to counter attack and score a second through Robbie Jaffray.
Bradford clinched the game with a goal from a Lewis Nash free kick on the edge of the box which found its way through a packed 18-yard area.
