VICTORY in their next two games will virtually secure the Hellenic Premier title for Highworth according to manager John Fisher.
The club and nearest challengers Didcot both have five games yet to play and are neck and neck.
But if they can take maximum points at Bishops Cleeve tomorrow and at home to Almondsbury on Tuesday, Fisher believes the championship will be on its way to the Elms.
"Of the five games we've got left, this is the one that could go either way the others we would expect to win.
"If we can win our next two against Bishops Cleeve and Almondsbury that should see us there.
"Didcot have got to play four games in a week and I see them dropping points."
Suspensions to a trio of midfielders gives Fisher some cause for concern. Jamie Mills, Mark O'Hara and Sean Terry are all banned for the Cleeve trek.
Highworth should have adequate cover in the centre following the recent arrival of Kevin Coles.
Wootton Bassett's Chris Jones would love to have that calibre of deputy at his disposal. He's down to the bare bones for the visit of Almondsbury.
After the postponement of the basement battle with Pewsey on Wednesday, Bassett face a fixture backlog that will do little for their survival hopes.
"We're playing Saturday, Wednesday, Saturday and then we've got four games in a week. If the players show more pride wearing the Bassett shirt we'll do okay.
"If we succumb to the pressure of playing so many games you're going to be asking an awful lot."
Fairford in the comfort zone of the top half of the table host Bicester.
