Both Cricklade and New College have been handed a lifeline by Premier Division leaders Bradford Town following their defeat at Marlborough last weekend.
Should second-placed Corsham also drop points against a much improved Marlborough outfit this weekend the local sides will be back in the title hunt if they can win all their games.
Cricklade face the hardest task at home to Bromham who were slightly unlucky to lose against Calne last weekend.
Manager Graham Jackson said: "We've just got to take it as it comes and not worry about the other sides. We played well at Malmesbury in midweek and kept another clean sheet which is good.
"It will be a tough game against Bromham but we know what we have to do.
"I've got a full squad to choose from except for Matt Charlton who is suspended until Monday.
"Of course we will be keeping an eye open for the Corsham result, this time of the season you never know."
New College entertain Devizes Town Reserves who will be no pushovers. They have been climbing the table steadily since Christmas and are placed below the College having played four more games.
College boss Pete Horwat said: "It could be a difficult game for us, I thought they were a good side when we played them at their place.
"It's not going to be easy but we will be after the three points and hopefully take advantage of any slip-ups from the leaders.
"We will be without Terry Bohane and Rob Metcalfe who are both suspended but apart from that we should have a good squad."
AFC Stratton on a roll with four wins on the trot will be looking to make it five against visitors Westbury United.
Calne Town also with an eye on the title visit Melksham and need to win to keep in the hunt.
Pewsey Vale entertain Bradford Town in the semi-final of the Corsham Print Senior Cup.
In Junior One AFC Stratton Reserves, like their senior side, are in the middle of a purple patch. A victory in midweek over Blunsdon put them in second place in the table, six points behind leaders Down Ampney with a game in hand.
Ampney are at home to Aldbourne and a win is essential to keep their position at the top of the section.
Third in the table Wroughton are still in with a shout for honours, they entertain Blunsdon United.
Top game in Junior Two is the clash between Castle Combe and leaders Abbey Rodbourne.
Castle Combe lost their unbeaten tag against Westlecott last week and will be keen to get back on the winning trail.
Abbey for their part have been steadily chalking up results and at least a point would suit the Swindon side.
