ACCORDING to the council's booklet Recycle for Swindon we are expected to use our existing black boxes (which were for paper only) for paper, magazines, junk mail, food packaging, egg boxes, card, cans, drink cans, bottles, jars and takeaway containers.
Can the council explain just how we are expected to fit all this into a small black box? A larger container should have been supplied.
The booklet states that if you require another box they will charge you £4 or £5 if you want it delivered. These extra boxes should be free; if the council wants us to recycle then they should supply sufficient boxes to enable us to do so.
