LEIGH Jones' second-half strike earned Wootton Bassett a priceless point against high-flying Almondsbury.
That return was enough to lift them outside the bottom two of the Hellenic Premier Division.
And with two clubs tipped to face the drop, they will be desperate to stay there with five games left to play.
Bassett trailed at the break to Paul Dempsey's goal, but the hosts bossed the second period and Jones scrambled in the crucial equaliser with 20 minutes remaining.
That ended a three-game losing streak and provided Bassett's first point since beating Almondsbury in the reverse fixture nearly a month ago.
