RAIL passengers face delays and lengthened journey times over the May Bank Holiday.

Network Rail plans to carry out engineering works between Reading and London Paddington, which will affect passengers travelling from Swindon to London.

On Saturday April 30 most First Great Western services to and from the south west to London will terminate at Reading with a shuttle service to London Waterloo.

A service will operate between London Paddington and Slough over the three days.

There will be a limited number of direct services to London on Tuesday, May 3.
