I WENT to the council on Wednesday, Arpil 13 to report some repairs that needed doing to my flat and there were a lot of families looking for a home.
I have written to the council about this and my next step is the Prime Minister. There are a lot of people who are in three-bed houses young couples who have no children.
I know of one couple who can't have any children, and should be in a one bed flat. I gave up my three-bed a year after my husband died, so that families could be in there.
I am in a one-bed ground floor flat now and I am happy that I did that now, even though I had lived there for 25 years. It was hard to give up all my memories but I think I did the right thing. But why does the council allow this?
