GAZETTE & HERALD: Business people in Corsham were given advice on how to grab the headlines and receive publicity when they gathered for a breakfast organised by the chamber of commerce.
Business men and women from Corsham and Chippenham listened intently to the lecture, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce at the Methuen Arms Hotel, South Place.
Paul Mullins, who has more than a decade's experience as a journalist, gave tips from inside the trade on how to think like a reporter and get those all important column inches in the newspaper.
Mr Mullins has now left journalism and now runs his own PR consultancy, specialising in securing editorial coverage for small and large businesses and organisations in the regional and trade media.
At the business breakfast he taught people how to write an interesting press release to promote their company at an affordable cost and mock up amusing pictures for as much coverage as possible.
