Kathy Breski who used to live next door to Craig Taylor Picture Ref: 77086-36CRAIG Taylor was a geeky man who gave women the creeps.

When he moved next door to Kathy Breski, she thought he was an odd but friendly neighbour.

She was a young mother living in Frampton Drive in Eastleaze in the early 90s, and knew nothing of his paedophile past.

By this time, he had two convictions for abusing boys, and had been jailed twice.

"He was a bit creepy and I remember feeling uneasy around him," said Kathy, now a 34-year-old mother-of-three living in St Andrew's Ridge.

"He was living with another man, and I assumed they were together, he never showed any interest in women.

"I remember he was really skinny and had filthy teeth.

"He was very clever in a techie way, almost a genius, but he looked like a train spotter.

"We would just chat about the usual things neighbours chat about."

Despite his odd manner, Kathy and her then partner would go over for drinks and barbecues with Taylor.

"I got the feeling he was just trying to be friendly, and we would often go over," said Kathy, who runs a beauty salon.

One evening, Kathy and her partner were shocked when Taylor suggested they all watch a pornographic film together.

"I think it was gay porn, and I just thought that was really weird," said Kathy.

Taylor's criminal past came to light when a News of the World journalist called round to speak to neighbours about Taylor for a story about paedophiles.

By this time, Kathy had moved, but kept in touch with another neighbour.

"I was so angry I called the letting agency and demanded to know why they put him there," she said.

"They said he had been moved there under a protection scheme.

"I pointed out I had a young daughter, but was told it was okay because he only likes boys.

"When I saw his face in the Adver yesterday I just couldn't believe he was still living in Swindon.

"I mean he has ruined these children's lives.

"He is an animal and should be sterilised, that's the only way to take the urge away."
