VOLUNTEERS are needed to play a small part in a marathon walk to raise money to help people needing bone marrow transplants.
On Thursday, April 28 Karen Churches begins her marathon walk from John O'Groats to Land's End.
The Anthony Nolan Trust is looking for volunteers to join her on either of the Wiltshire stages of her walk.
On Friday, August 12 she will be starting near Marlborough, and on the following day she will begin from Brinkworth.
The trust's area appeals manager Sharon Wells said: "Children and adults are invited to join in the fun, raising funds and getting fit along the way."
The trust provides lifesaving bone marrow donors for patients in need of a transplant.
