WELL done to Rex Barnett and Michael Brightman of the Patriot Arms in Chiseldon for encouraging St George's Day celebrations on Saturday.
There will also be celebrations in Swindon town centre and I hope to see people wearing red roses to show they are pleased and proud to be English.
I shall be offering roses for sale at £1 each and the proceeds will go to the Wiltshire and Swindon Community Foundation, which distributes grants to good causes within the county.
Let's make it a fun day and support a good local cause at the same time.
It's always great to see the St George flag flying in support of the England football and rugby teams so this weekend why not fly the flag for St George.
