GAZETTE & HERALD: REAL ale enthusiasts are busy rolling out the barrels and dusting off the glasses in readiness for Chippenham's 14th annual Beer Festival this weekend.
Organised by the North West Wiltshire branch of the Campaign for Real Ale, the festival gives local people a rare opportunity to sample a wide range of beers, ciders and perries from right across the country.
Association secretary Ed Spearey (right of picture with Shaun Wilkins) said ticket sales are going well and they expect the Friday night session to sell out.
Around 800 gallons of beer will be consumed over the two-day event at the Olympiad leisure centre. The Friday night session begins at 6pm and live music will be provided by rock group the Outhouse Critics, ending at 11pm.
A Saturday afternoon session takes place between 11am and 3.30pm, and the final Saturday evening session is 7pm to 11pm with the Celebration Jazz Band.
Tickets are available from the Olympiad.
