How long will it be before an accident is caused by panic braking? Most motorway bridges have been modified or signed to prevent the motoring public from parking on them.
This cost money and so there had to be justification for doing it. It was to stop panic breaking.
Now it seems it's okay for the police to park on motorway bridges. As a regular M4 user I know there are a lot of idiots on the road. Not all of them speed but a lot of them come close to causing accidents. The only way to improve matters is by having more police patrols not less.
