A TROUBLED youth caf has been saved from closure with the help of the Wiltshire Times.
The Melksham Youth Caf, in Market Place, announced last month it would have to close because it did not have enough volunteers to look after the scores of teenagers who use the facility every Tuesday evening.
Now three volunteers and a treasurer have come forward.
Volunteer Veronica Parfitt said the Wiltshire Times had helped to attract more people to help out.
Mrs Parfitt said the crisis for the caf was not over and more volunteers were still needed, but for the time being it would remain open.
Anyone else who wants to volunteer should contact Dr Ian Cardy on (01225) 703858.
