CHIPPENHAM SUNDAY LEAGUE: THE magnificent seven of Box Rovers held Hullavington to a 1-1 draw despite being four men shor for much of the game.
Third-placed Box could only rally nine players for the start of Thursday's game and were dealt a further blow when they lost Stuart Hymes through injury after 20 minutes.
Despite their handicap they still took the lead through Nick Denham.
Ten minutes from time their eight men were reduced to seven when Richard Newman was sent off for a deliberate handball.
Rovers keeper Paul Leach saved Craig Samuels' resulting spot kick to set up an unlikely victory but reelgation threatened Hullavington spoiled the story in the final minute Andy Martin equalised.
Westbury Rangers A completed a league and cup treble over leaders West Lavington (Sunday) to move up into third spot and install themselves as favourites to lift the championship. Pete Ayton and Marc Lanfear scored to give Rangers a 2-1 win. Neil Hillier replied for Lavington.
Lavington will be hoping their point against Biddestone Social on Sunday will be good enough for them to claim a top two finish.
Lavington had to come from behind to earn a 1-1 draw after Derek Jones had put through his own net. Darren Thorpe claimed the leaders equaliser early in the second half.
Strugglers All Cannings picked up a vital point at Trowbridge Harriers on Thursday. Cannings came from behind twice to snatch a 2-2 draw thanks to two bizarre goals. Mickey Spong headed Harriers in front after ten minutes but his effort was cancelled by Jack Williams, who knew little about his 60th minute equaliser. An attempted clearance from the Harriers keeper cannoned off Williams and sailed back over his head.
With three minutes remaining Alan Cook put Harriers back in front but Richard Holman's 25 yard lob caught Harriers' hapless keeper off guard in injury time.
Corsham Cricket Club overcame Bradford News 3-1 with Frank Rogers, Tom Bond and James Weston scoring the goals, Russell Francis replied for the Newsmen.
Two second half goals from Simon Hiller netted Maud Heath Sports a 2-0 win against Hullavington, and the villagers are now in a relegation tussle with All Cannings FC who themselves went down 8-4 away to Sherston Town.
Cannings played the whole game with ten men and were undone with goals from John Wilkins (3, one penalty), Gavin Thompson, Ed Wilkins, Wayne Kibble, a James Oram own goal and another penalty from Lee Bevis. Cannings replied via Nick Oram with a treble of which one came from the penalty and Jack Williams.
AN under strength Colerne side closed the gap on leaders Corsham Centre with a hard fought 1-0 victory over The Horse & Groom.
Colerne broke the deadlock when Ian Hudd's cross was met on the volley by Jamie Bowler.
Atworth United drew 1-1 with Semington Rovers. Stuart Barber put Rovers ahead before Scott Portsmouth equalised.
North Bradley took only nine players to North Star A and lost 4-1.
Tim Culling's 20th goal of the season was Chippenham Police's only consolation as they were beaten 2-1 in by Wingfield in spite of taking the lead. Alan House and Ben Ludwell acored for Wingfield.

In midweek Corsham Centre opened up gap on their Division One rivals after securing a 4-0 win over Chippenham Sports & Social. Simon Gray (2), Michael Higson and Ross Lye with his first goal for the club led the Centre to victory.
STEEPLE Ashton drew 4-4 with Biddestone on Tuesday with ten players.
Biddestone took the lead through Richard Chaffey but had to come from behind three times to earn their point. Lee Hayward tied the score and Steve Coveney made it 2-1 to Ashton before Jack Goodship squared things up at 2-2. Dave Bradbeer's penalty restored Ashton's advantage but Biddestone replied via Kevin Woolford. Biddestone keeper Chris Gray dropped Steve Coveney's header over the line as Ashton move ahead with time running out. Three minutes from time Danny Box crashed home a 25 yard free kick.
On Sunday Biddestone beat Corsham Park Rangers 3-1. Richard Chaffey, Steve Casey and Jack Goodship scored. Danny Blunsdon replied.
Spencer Sports suffered their first league defeat of the season, 2-1 at AC Soho. Spencer's 2-1 loss has opened up the race for the title and has put added importance on Sunday's match with leaders Christian Malford. Marcus Young put Soho 2-0 up before Dan King pulled one back.
Christian Malford were again indebted to top scorer Scott Evans as his double increased their lead at the top following their 2-1 win over Steeple Ashton (Sunday). Lee Hayward replied.
Two second half goals from Dave Jenkins and an 88th minute strike from Steve Pegler earned Parson Nose a 3-0 success against The Crown Devizes.
Johnny Emm twice gave Potterne the lead against Southwick Sports who hit back to seal a 3-2 triumph with Carl Davies wrapping up the win with a 30 yard screamer. Neil Kendrick and Tom Mann had levelled form Southwick after Emm had bagged his 36th and 37th goals of the campaign before Davies struck goal.
PIG & Whistle United collected just one point from two games and all but handed the title to King Arms (Trowbridge) after they fell to a surprise 3-1 defeat at home to Virgin Mobile last Tuesday and could only manage a 3-3 draw with Bradstone Rovers on Sunday.
Kings Arms now look odds on to take the title after seeing off Old Road Tavern 11-0. Scott Askew led the way with three goals. The others came from Sam Simpson, Dean Murden, Lee Murden, Jerone Dyer, Adam Glover, Nick Gleeson and Chris Carr.

But Bar OC reclaimed top spot on Thursday with 7-1 triumph over KSM. Danny Powell, three,Andy Webster and Rob Drown scored. Bar conceded their first goal in over 530 minutes of football when Steve Warner netted KSM's consolation.
Bar OC all but assured promotion with a scrappy 3-1 win over Cooper Avon on Sunday. They won through two goals from Andrew Webster and one from Luke Enderby after Shane Thornton put the visitors ahead.
Rowde Dynamos look to be certain runners-up after overcoming Pack Horse Rangers 4-3. Ashley Edwards scored within 30 seconds to put Rowde ahead. Simon Reid made it 1-1 and only some fine stops from keeper Del Llewellyn (Rangers) and Ashley Robinson (Rowde) kept it that way until Shahram Hemmati followed up his own penalty to regain the lead.
Rowde draw level through Jamie Mullins and his second made it 3-2. Adie Bridge gave them a two-goal cushion and Stuart Deacon clawed one back for Rangers.
Fascia Graphics have an outside chance of automatic promotion after beating third-placed AFC Calne 3-1. Graphics must win their remaining matches and hope Calne and Rowde slip up. Aaron Clegg's opener for Calne was wiped out by Darren Legg's hat-trick.
Fascia followed up with a 3-0 victory over AFC Melksham. Steve Allison, and Andy Palmer, playing his 50th game for Fascia, scored.
AFC Springfieldbeat KSM 4-2 scoreline. Scott Fleming converted his sixth penalty of the season to give Springfield the lead. Steve Warner squalised direct from a corner. KSM went ahead through Aaron Pearce but Chris Andrews levelled. He then added two more to seal the win.
