HOSTS for young German visitors are desperately needed this summer. Fifty-five people from Trowbridge's German twin town, Leer, are coming to the town from July 20-24.
Stuart Carpenter, chairman of the Trowbridge-Leer Twinning Association, said: "It's wonderful that the interest has been rekindled with so much enthusiasm but obviously with such a large and unexpected, but very welcome, number of visitors, we desperately need help to host them."
Anyone who can help is asked to contact either Mr Carpenter on (01225) 351215 or the association secretary Susan Pope on (01225) 760056.
