OFFICE workers will swap the safety of their desks for kayaking, abseiling and code cracking, all in aid of stopping cruelty to children.
Staff from software firm Capita, based in Manvers Street, Trowbridge, are taking part in the fifth annual Microsoft UK Challenge to raise funds for the NSPCC.
Team captain Keith Graddon said: "We are really looking forward to the Microsoft UK Challenge and are working hard to prepare for the tough mental and physical challenges ahead.
"We know we are going to be tested to our limits. It is particularly rewarding knowing that by taking part we are raising funds to help the NSPCC achieve their aim of ending cruelty to children."
The team will be heading to the Cambrian Mountains in Wales in June for the four-day event, which will test their strength, stamina and brainpower.
