New College and Cricklade Town will be looking for Pewsey Vale to do them a favour when they visit Premier Division title favourites Corsham Town, writes RAY BURROUGHS.
Both the College and Cricklade have been winning their games and will be ready to pounce should Corsham drop any points in their final four matches.
Cricklade entertain Melksham Town and on form should chalk up another victory as should New College who are at home to Westbury.
Cricklade boss Graham Jackson has told his side to concentrate on getting the three points and not worry what the other clubs are doing.
Should Corsham falter there are three or four clubs that could make it a great finish to the season with the title going down to the wire.
Cricklade played well in midweek beating Purton 5-0 at the Red House.
New College pleased manager Pete Horwat with a superb second half performance against Devizes last weekend and will be looking for more of the same against visitors Westbury United.
AFC Stratton lost 2-1 at Malmesbury in midweek and manager Tony Dyer, pictured, will be hoping his side can get back to winning ways at Marlborough.
The home side however have looked a much better outfit in recent weeks and could prove to be difficult to beat.
Bottom of the table Purton Reserves are at home to another of the title contenders Calne Town and it would be a big upset if they managed to get a result against their high-flying opponents.
Down Ampney became the Junior Division One champions in midweek following their 6-0 away win against neighbours Minety.
Nearest rivals AFC Stratton Reserves had their hopes dashed when they were beaten 2-1 by Stratton Rovers and will need to get back to winning ways if they are to fill the runners-up spot.
Castle Combe's 4-1 victory over Barron Heating in midweek has made them the probable favourites to win the Junior Two section should they win their games in hand over current leaders Abbey Rodbourne. They are without a game on Saturday while Abbey Rodbourne take on Chippenham United.
Stratton St Margaret have made a welcome return to form following a lean spell. The former leaders of the section had slipped to the bottom half of the table before their recent revival, they visit Wroughton Reserves and could continue their purple patch.
n GREEN BAIZE face the Royal Oak of Salisbury in the final of the Wiltshire Sunday Cup this weekend.
It's the first of two finals in two weeks for the Swindon side who face stablemates Green Baize United in the Swindon Sunday League Cup showpiece on May 1.
But first they must contend with a Royal Oak side that accounted for favourites Greyhound en route to the final.
Green Baize boss Tony Bedwell said: "With them knocking out Greyhound, we have got to be underdogs."
But the Baize are at full strength with goalkeeper Ian Gill among those returning following a 4-0 drubbing at the hands of the County Ground last week.
The game kicks off at 10.30am on Sunday at Wootton Bassett's Rylands Way.
