A BRAND new nature trail has been set up at Stanton Park Nature Reserve. The trail is designed to make the park more interesting for its visitors.
And, the Swindon Services Ranger team, Nature for All celebrated the installation of the trail during a family fun day on Sunday, which included willow arts and craft workshops. There was also storytelling sessions provided by community artists.
Children and their parents were given the opportunity to view a honeybee observation hive, which was provided by the on-site bee project.
And, the South West Swan Sanctuary gave a talk about swans that live at the park.
Johnannah Fawthrop, community liaison officer said: "Despite the weather, the day was a huge success and participants endorsed the nature trail that weaves through semi-ancient woods, past the lake and skirts by the meadow."
