CHILDREN in Swindon are still being called to help clean up the town's streets.
Schools, Brownies packs, Scout groups, youth clubs and families are being offered an incentive to clean up their area.
The Great Big Tidy Up is a national initiative organised by Crayola this month.
Organisers are looking to recruit clean-up teams from across the town.
Groups of children will work together to clean up the messiest parts of town.
The best project will win £500 cash and a Great Big Tidy Up trophy.
Gary McClintock, from Crayola, said: "We want young people across the UK to get involved by erasing mess in their areas.
"If every town gets on board we'll make a huge difference."
Everyone who takes part in the project will receive a welcome pack.
The pack will include handy tidy up tips and samples of Crayola's erasable markers.
The company's panel of judges will meet next month to choose the best projects.
Mr McClintock said: "We're hoping that if every town gets on board we'll make a huge difference."
If you want to get involved in the project then call the tidy-up hotline to receive a welcome pack.
