THE planners involved with the Coate Water Project are only mercenaries.
They have not got Swindon's best interests at heart should something else turn up they would be gone like a shot!
Sonya Mills is a prime example. She insisted the Great Western Hospital would have enough beds, but she left before she could face the music leaving others to apologise.
It is a fair assumption that the genuine Swindonian is against the area being developed.
As an old Haydon Wick boy of the 1940s and '50s I know what it is like to lose the freedom of the countryside so here's a message for our councillors to think on.
You were all too eager to knock on our door to canvas our vote now show the same enthusiasm to gather our opinions.
