DISRUPTIVE pupils may be given a fresh start in state boarding schools under plans being considered by Education Secretary Ruth Kelly.
Unruly children at risk of being excluded could be sent to the establishments for a period in a bid to improve their behaviour.
The spokesman said the Education Secretary was "looking at the suggestion of a pathfinder experiment where pupils are given a fresh start in state boarding schools."
