Chris Scott, 72A GROUP of Swindon Town fans raising money to save the medals belonging to one of the club's greatest footballers are more than half way to their target.
But they desperately need more cash before the auction on Wednesday.
Supporter Chris Scott, 72, pictured, is organising the bid with the help of the Swindon Town Supporters' Trust, the Supporters' Club and the Swindon Away Supporters, to save the Harold Fleming memorabilia and bring it back to the County Ground.
So far they have been promised £3,300 but the medals are expected to reach £5,000.
