A 17-YEAR-OLD was left badly shaken after being beaten up by four other youngsters.
The teenager was walking along the footpath between Freshbrook Way and Rowton Heath Way when the four men approached him and asked him for a cigarette.
When he said he did not smoke they punched and kicked him in the head and stomach before running off.
Police say he suffered swelling and was upset by what happened.
The attackers were all aged between 17 and 19.
One of them was 5ft 8in tall with short dark hair, of big build and wore a white zip-up tracksuit top with blue writing on the front and dark blue jeans.
Another was 5ft 8in tall and slim with short black hair, wearing a light blue-hooded zip-up tracksuit top, with blue writing on the front and light blue jeans.
