Swindon Badgers girls under 12s continued their domination of the Wiltshire Girls League with a 4-0 win over Swindon Town Girls in the final of the League Cup.
Badgers attacked from the first whistle with Katy Kingshott causing the Town defence some problems down the right wing and Georgia Walters showing her physical strength and neat footwork up front.
It wasn't long before Walters pounced on a loose ball and gave Badgers a 1-0 lead.
The same pattern continued after the break with Badgers keeper Rebekah Nash having little to do other than deal with back-passes from a well organised defence of Keelie Russell, Shannen Fenton and Naomi Saxby.
Rebecca Cotton took advantage of a poor clearance and struck a right foot volley that deceived the Town keeper and finished in the bottom corner of the net to make it 2-0 .
Within a few minutes Kingshott jinked passed two players before sliding the ball passed the keeper and into the empty net.
Kingshott's second was the goal of the game. After picking up a bouncing ball inside the Town half she struck an unstoppable volley into the top right hand corner of the net.
Badgers play their last league game on May 14, and with a 100 per cent record, need just one point to secure a league and cup double.
