MACMILLAN CANCER RELIEF: TIME is running out to reserve your place for this year's Macmillan Abseil.
Dozens of daredevils have already reserved their place for the event on Saturday.
They will be abseiling 100ft down the WHSmith building in Greenbridge.
Volunteers have to raise a minimum of £100 to take part, and all instruction and safety checks will be carried out by troops from the Royal Artillery Display Troop.
Graziella Campisano, from the Swindon Cancer Appeal, said: "People do it for the adrenalin rush or even because they have set themselves a challenge either for a New Year resolution, something to with work colleagues or even just to get over a fear."
Last year 51 people took part and raised a total of £12,000 and organisers really want to better that this year.
If you can help, or are interested in having a go call the Swindon Cancer Appeal office by Friday on 01793 432252.
