GAZETTE & HERALD: THE Hare and Hounds is launching the Spring Fling for its fourth beer festival today.
The pub at 48 Pickwick will welcome real ale fans over the whole bank holiday weekend and host hours of fun entertainment.
Joint owner, Mark Foster said: "With eight award winning cask conditioned real ales on offer and at just £1.80 per pint, there should be plenty of merriment and enjoyment going on."
Tonight there will be karaoke in the saloon bar from 8pm, tomorrow night is steak night and Sunday is the Hare and Hounds' Baranados Charity Race Night.
Mr Foster said: "In addition to our wide range of traditional, home cooked, pub fayre and fresh, stone oven baked pizzas, we will also have a selection of fabulous top quality Welsh Steaks on Friday.
"And on Sunday there will be a series of six horse and two greyhound races, shown on a big screen in the lounge bar."
Tote betting facilities will be available on all races, with stakes of £1 only. A proportion will go to charity.
