GAZETTE & HERALD: A DAY of fun-filled activities has been planned for Corsham's young people in a bid to tackle antisocial behaviour.
In two weeks time teenagers will have the opportunity to see what their town has to offer them at a youth festival.
Maggie Giddings, development co-ordinator for Youth Action Wiltshire, who is organising the event with Helen McNally from Corsham's Youth Development Centre, said: "There appeared to be a problem with young people and antisocial behaviour and we wanted to do something constructive."
Young people are invited to give their views about what they would like to see from their town.
At the event, which is all free, teens will get to try the mobile skate park, rock climbing, body combat, kayaking, dance and a theatre workshop. There will also be a fashion challenge for wannabe designers and an X Factor style singing competition in the evening.
The organisers plan to provide transport for those living in the villages.
The festival will be held at the Springfield Community Centre and Leisure Centre on May 14 between 1pm and 7pm.
