Wootton Bassett Mayor Susan Cooksley is urging as many residents as possible to come and take part in tonight's annual town meeting.
The meeting is totally open and gives residents the opportunity to raise any questions or concerns they might have within the town.
The town's councillors will be present to answer their questions as well as giving reports on all the different projects and issues currently being considered within the town.
Coun Cooksley said: "People can ask questions and get a response immediately, unlike a town council meeting where residents have to wait for a written reply.
"It's the town's meeting and it only happens once a year so we're looking forward to seeing lots of people there."
Town clerk Jonathan Bourne said: "It's a good opportunity for people to come and ask questions and we're hoping all the councillors will be able to be there. Last year we had a good debate on the cemetery issue and its future and hopefully there'll be some more good debate this year."
The meeting will start at 7.30pm on the Ground Floor of the Civic Centre on Station Road.
