Mid Wilts Youth League: Devizes Town U13s clinched the Red Division title in front of 300 supporters on Sunday in a hard-fought victory over championship rivals Warminster Town.
Players rejoiced at the final whistle and offered their commiserations to the opposing team, which won them plaudits for their sportsmanship from other managers at the game.
Proud boss, Gary Chivers, said: "I was pleased with the performance and the way they kept their shape. There was not one person who stood out.
"It was a whole team performance. Usually I let the lads pick a man-of-the-match for the game but I would not let them do it this week."
Chivers added: "They all turned up dressed smartly in their best shirts and had their photos in front of the stand and walked around the ground.
"They treated it like the FA Cup final and it helped them focus."
He said the team wanted to thank the crowd for turning up and making it a special day.
