EX England captain Tony Adams proved he's not a good sport when he refused to talk to the Adver or have his picture taken during a visit to Swindon.
The 39-year-old, nicknamed the Donkey, showed the Adver the red card before giving an after dinner speech at the Premier Club in Ermin Street last night.
He was there to talk about his charity Sporting Chance which works with people who are addicted to drink or drugs.
But when we asked him to say a few words about the charity he refused point blank.
Neither would he let us take a photograph of him.All he did say is that he is a Swindon fan.
"I love Swindon it's a great place."
He also said that he thinks Swindon Town are a good club, but that they are having a mixed season.
Tony lives in the Cotswolds and is currently studying for a three year sports science degree at Brunel University.
He made his debut for Arsenal in 1983 and become the team's youngest ever captain in 1988.
Tony suffered from alcoholism but managed to beat his addiction in 1996, later forming the Sporting Chance Clinic 2000. He is due to give a talk at the Gateway Centre tomorrow.
