MARLBOROUGH man David Richards who damaged a parked car has been landed with a bill of £285.
Devizes Magistrates Court heard on Tuesday that Richards, 24, of Salisbury Road, was in Marlborough High Street when he pushed a trolley into the side of a Skoda Octavia causing £100 damage. Police witnessed the incident on April 9 and arrested him.
Malcolm Wieck, defending, said Richards never intended to cause damage. Richards pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage and was fined £150, ordered to pay £100 compensation to the car owner and costs of £35.
