A CHARITY fashion show promoted by three Marlborough businesses has been a huge success raising more than £3,500 for a Wiltshire-based charity.
The show in the town hall on Wednesday last week was hosted by Waud ladieswear, David Dudley
jewellery and Macaulay's Hair and Beauty.
The proceeds go to the Hope and Homes Charity launched by Salisbury couple Mark and Caroline Cook in 1994. The charity has been able to find homes and give security to more than 7,500 orphaned or abandoned children in eastern Europe and in Africa.
Jewellery worn by the models ranged from diamonds, pearls, gold, platinum to modern silver designs. It complemented clothes by top designers including Armani, Jenny Packham, Max Mara and Paddy Campbell. Maximar also loaned eveningwear for a stunning finale. Hairstyles were created by Paul and his team from Macaulay's. Rejuvenesce did the models' make-up. Canaps that
accompanied the champagne reception were provided by Nicky Townsend. Flowers were by Pinks. Music came from Mick Allport, and the sound and lighting was by Reflex.
