A RECRUITMENT company is doing its best to get people in the town working.
Blue Arrow parked a giant bus in the town centre yesterday to encourage more people to think about their future.
The Mobile Recruitment Centre is designed to make the company more accessible to the public.
Blue Arrow specialises in catering, office and commercial work, construction and industrial placements.
These can be either temporary, temporary to permanent or permanent positions.
Catering consultant Richard Austin thinks people in the town need an extra push at the moment. He said: "It's been very quiet in the town, what with Easter being early and the General Election.
"We want to get local people out to work."
The bus was parked outside Argos in the town centre.
Mr Austin said: "The mobile unit means we're right in the town centre, so everyone will see us, because this is the hub of the town."
The company, which has been based in Commercial Road for the last 15 years, regularly supplies Zurich, Honda and BCA with staff.
