WILTSHIRE, who face Kent tomorrow in the C&G Trophy, lost by 129 runs to Berkshire yesterday in their annual warm-up game for the Marlborough Cup.
Berkshire won the toss and elected to bat at Thatcham.
That decision was vindicated as the hosts put Wiltshire to the sword. They piled up the runs scoring 358-9 off their allotted 50 overs.
PJ Pritchard struck a brilliant century and went on to make 126 while good support came from N Gunter with 69. Kevin Nash was the pick of the Wilts bowlers with 4-51.
In reply, Wiltshire struggled and could only reach 229-9 off their 50 overs. The only notable contribution came from James Hibberd with 68 runs.

Richard Bates and Australian Chris Rogers replace Toby Sharpe and Jamie Rendall.
Rogers, a Western Australia opening bat will play for South Wilts this season.
He has scored more than 3000 runs in first class cricket in Australia at an average of over 40 and in 2004 played part of that season for Derbyshire averaging 55.
Also included are the new signing James Golding who is a former Kent player and Hibberd who played for Kent 2nd XI in 2003.
Kent's likely team includes England Test players Robert Key, Geraint Jones, Martin Saggers and South African Test player Martin Van Jaarsfeld.
