Picture Ref: 77221-41HEART-THROB actor Jeremy Edwards was mobbed by screaming fans when he appeared at a Swindon nightclub.
The 33-year-old, who starred in Holby City and Hollyoaks and appeared in Celebrity Big Brother, visited the Studio nightclub in Old Town on the night of its weekly event for 14 to 17-year-olds. And he said he was impressed by the behaviour of Swindon's teenagers.
"I don't normally do under 18s events because you don't know what they will be like but this lot were just really nice," he said.
"They were really polite and well mannered a really friendly bunch.
"Sometimes though when I was signing autographs I'd try to talk to them and they'd just look at me completely awe-struck."
Jeremy, who lives in London, said he didn't get much of a chance to look around Swindon but had a nice meal at the Villiers Inn, in Wroughton, before going to the club.
After finishing Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, he has appeared in a film called Lost Dogs and is about to start filming for a new romantic comedy film.
"Lost Dogs was a very violent film," he said.
"But it was good not to be playing the nice guy for a change. I got to shave my head and just be really moody and aggressive.
"In the next film though I have to be nice and look good it's much more of a box office film. They don't know who my co-star is going to be yet.
"Ideally I'd like it to be Angelina Jolie but I'd have to fight Brad Pitt for her first."
Jeremy, who once dated S Club 7 singer Rachel Stevens, said he does currently have a girlfriend but would not reveal who she is, saying only that she is not famous.
