LOCAL bands have the chance to show what they can do at two gig nights organised in Cricklade and Wootton Bassett.
On Saturday Absence Of Vision, Civil Disobedience, 7 Storey Ruin and the Red Deverell Blues Band will be performing at the Wootton Bassett Memorial Hall.
On May 14, Cricklade Town Hall is the venue for the Paper Trail, String Mannequins, Dr Nick and Element.
Carol Francis, one of the organisers, said: "We're trying to promote young bands, who often have difficulty starting off.
"It will be a safe environment because we are aiming at a family audience."
Tickets cost £4 on the door, or £3.50 in advance, from Brian Taylor Music, in Wootton Bassett High Street, or by calling 01793 850410.
Doors open at 7.30pm, and the music begins at 8pm.
