A FUN-PACKED bank holiday weekend aimed at raising money for the Prospect Hospice in Wroughton reaches its finale today.
The Wheatsheaf, in Dores Road, Swindon, has already played host to a number of events over the weekend, including a car boot sale and a quiz.
The activities continue today and will include an adult talent contest, pool and darts tournaments, a limbo showdown, and a knobbly knees competition.
Manager Sharon Leighfield urged people to turn up and bare legs to help raise money for the Wroughton-based charity.
She praised the other organiser, 82-year-old Mitch Mitchell.
"He is amazing," she said. "He had a kidney transplant 20 years ago and he has got more energy than half our younger customers."
