Picture Ref: 77237-43VISITORS to a Swindon museum were given an insight into life during World War Two.
The Wiltshire Area Military Vehicle Trust also gave demonstrations of dances such as jazz and jive at the Swindon Museum and Art Gallery on Saturday.
Members talked about the 82nd Searchlight Regiment, which was based in the area.
And there was also a display of military vehicles, including a number of jeeps and a motorcycle.
Theresa Soley, 47, the treasurer of the Swindon-based group, said: "We are helping the museum celebrate VE-Day. We've had a lot of interest from visitors.
"It's a hobby to me as I like being part of a living history group."
Member Kevin Smart, 41, of Cirencester, dressed as a soldier from the 4th Wiltshire Regiment of the 43rd Wessex Division.
He said: "I'm interested in the war and wanted to help keep the group going for all the veterans."
The group's next event is at Longleat on May 21.
