THIS weekend sees a series of VE-Day 60th anniversary celebrations in Cricklade.
On Saturday morning there is a special service for 200 children.
In the afternoon there will be a tea party for veterans of the war years at United Church Hall.
In the evening the High Street will be closed for a tattoo, complete with the Cricklade Band, military bands and majorettes.
On Sunday the Royal British Legion thanksgiving service will take place at Blake Hill memorials.
