GOLFERS will be teeing off to boost the Swindon Cares charity this summer.
The fundraising initiative will host a corporate golf day at Ogbourne Downs on Tuesday, July 12.
Business teams from Swindon and Marlborough are invited, at £150 per team of four.
The competition, supplemented by nearest the pin and longest drive prizes, is a bowmaker event with the best two stableford scores counting. Tee off is 1pm in a shotgun start, with a three-course dinner and presentations after.
Last year Swindon Cares raised £22,000 for Age Concern, NSPCC, Macmillan and the GWR FM Community Trust.
This year's recipients are Working for Opportunities, Threshold Housing Link, The Green Hut and the GWR FM Community Trust. Entry forms at www. swindoncares.co.uk
