NEEDY children from Belarus will benefit from a fundraising sale this weekend.
Twice a year, the Zaslowya Project brings children from the former Soviet country to Swindon for a holiday.
Zaslowya is still suffering from the fallout of the Chernobyl disaster in 1986 caused by an explosion in a nuclear reactor.
The sale in Wanborough will include clothes, bric-a-brac, books, CDs, household goods and furniture.
Raffle prizes include a signed Manchester United top, Manchester United tickets, mobile phones, champagne, a day at Newbury Races and a round of golf.
Organiser Lynda Millen hopes the sale, which starts at 2pm at Wanborough Primary School on Saturday, will raise £500.
The project is also looking for host families to take children this summer.
A dozen children are expected in July and August.
Only one family is currently signed up to help.
