Swindon begin their 2005 league campaign in Glos/Wilts One tomorrow when they make the trip up the M5 to Redmarley.
This will be the first time the two sides have met, and Redmarley are therefore something of an unknown quantity.
But, having finished fourth last year, they should provide a stern test for John Baden's side.
With all Swindon sides undefeated in 2005, confidence is running high, but skipper Baden has made a number of changes in an effort to provide himself with a more balanced side.
Young seamer Dom O'Neill make his first team debut and will provide support for Willoughby and Nichols, while young batsman Mark Williamson is also included after a fine knock at Lansdown last weekend. Top order batters Anthony Spencer and Darren Beasant make way.
Paul Stoddard will lead the 2nds during 2005 and they start the season by entertaining the recently-formed Gloucester City Winget club.
Stoddard has a well-balanced side at his disposal, but will be anticipating a stern test. Spencer and Beasant lead a powerful batting line up and will doubtless feel they have a point to prove.
Vice captain Andy Pocock will again assume keeping duties whilst Dickinson, Stoddard, Parkinson and Arkley form a balanced bowling attack.
Chairman Nick Parkinson leads the 3rds against Moredon, and will be looking to follow-up on the success of last weekend.
The batting has an experienced look to it, while the bowling features Bruce Stone, a former captain of Fleet CC, who makes his club debut.
The 4ths host Bradley and will also look to continue their winning ways. Phil Laggett and Kev Thompson lead a side which mainly features the club's under 15s.
On Sunday, Arran Dickinson leads the 1sts to Marlborough for what will be a fiercely-contested local derby. His has six of Saturday's first team at his disposal.
James Parkinson leads the 2nds as they host Hungerford in the first Border League fixture of the season.
