PEOPLE are to be given the chance to make ideas for their town a reality at a meeting to be held on Thursday.
The Westbury Area Action Group are launching a community plan designed to guide the town and surrounding area into the future.
Rev Paul Richardson, chairman of the group, said: "We hope many people will attend the meeting not only to celebrate the work of local residents to date, in contributing to the period of consultation for the plan, but also to signal their commitment to taking it forward and making the community plan the start and not the end of a process that will improve Westbury and the surrounding area."
Options for future development of the road system will be presented by Mouchel Parkman, the consultants appointed by Wiltshire County Council. The plan also focuses on health, education, the economy, transport and the environment. The launch will take place at Westbury Infants School, in Eden Vale Road, at 7pm.
