A 34-YEAR-OLD woman has been told she could take legal action against bouncers who bruised her when they threw her out of a Warminster nightclub.

Justine Morris, of Goodwin Close, Warminster, was thrown out of the Ivory Rooms nightclub, in Weymouth Street on April 9, by two bouncers who left her arm covered in bruises.

Magistrate David Randolph said at Chippenham magistrates' court on Thursday: "It does not seem as though you were properly dealt with by the bouncers."

Michele Hewitt, prosecuting, said Morris told police she was thrown out of the nightclub for no reason and two bouncers had used unnecessary force against her.

Morris became frustrated by the way the police officer, who she called herself after being thrown out of the club, was handling her complaint against the bouncers and started shouting and swearing at him. She charged back to the door of the club and started swearing at the bouncers.

Michael Wills, defending, said Morris, who has no previous convictions, had gone out with a friend.

"Two bouncers asked her if she would leave and she said she would when she had finished her drink," he said.

"She had hardly had a chance to finish her drink when she was manhandled by burly bouncers and unceremoniously dumped outside the door."

Morris pleaded guilty to a public order offence. Mag-istrates gave her a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered her to pay £43 costs.
