TALENTED young publishers triumphed at the regional final of a Young Enterprise competition. Amazing Grace Publishing, from St Augustine's Catholic College, Trowbridge, beat off the competition by producing their own book.
Team member Hannah Dabinett, 17, said she was delighted to win the Wiltshire finals, held in the Civic Hall, Trowbridge, on Thursday.
"We have learnt a lot about business and it has been really interesting," she said.
"It feels like we have achieved something. It has been great and winning is a bonus on top of everything else."
Eight teams from five schools took part in the competition, each coming up with an idea for a business then following it through the planning and production stages before creating and marketing their product.
Amazing Grace created A Book of Few Words, using stories and poems written by students and teachers.
The seven-strong team, all in year 12, marketed the product so well it paid for itself through advertising before it was even published.
St Augustine's fielded two other teams, gel candle firm Yushi Moush, and Zedna, who designed and made mobile phone holders.
El Fuego, from The George Ward School, Melksham, chose to produce candles while IDentity, also from George Ward created homemade bags.
Other teams taking part were ASUWISH from Stonar School, Melksham, and Genius and Knights on the Table Squared, from Dauntsey's School, West Lavington.
Young Enterprise chairman Brendan Wall said: "The standard remains very high this year from the different schools that are participating. We are very pleased with the young people."
Each team gave a presentation to the judges, Heather Skull from BBC Radio Wiltshire, Nigel White from HSBC and Ken Rees from Corporate Television.
Hilperton cabaret artist Stan the Man provided the entertainment at the event, singing Robbie William's Let Me Entertain You and Prince's Purple Rain.
