Sue StebbingSOUTH SWINDON: LABOUR must make sure they look after everyone in South Swindon, according to defeated Liberal Democrat candidate Sue Stebbing.
"Labour have been concentrating their campaign on the estates in Swindon such as Parks and Walcot," Dr Stebbing said.
"Mrs Snelgrove needs to be aware that there are other people in Swindon.
"She needs to make sure she looks after the interests of everyone in South Swindon."
And Dr Stebbing added that people were giving Labour one last chance.
"Even the people who have voted Labour despite Iraq are left with the residue of bitterness," she said.
"People will give Labour one more chance but they will be hoping that Tony Blair steps down in favour of Gordon Brown."
Dr Stebbing said the Lib Dems on Swindon Council would continue to campaign against development at Coate.
She added that the party would work with schools and colleges in Swindon to make sure young people were encouraged to take an interest in politics.
