A HIGHWORTH garage has been hit by thieves for the second time in 18 months. Four men burst into Simpson's Garage in Swindon Road and stole cigarettes and cash.
The offenders threatened the cashier, and one leapt over the counter. Police are appealing for witnesses to the raid at 9.40pm on Thursday to come forward.
Two were aged in their early 20s, and about 6ft to 6ft 2in, and of athletic build.
One had a gold tooth, and they all wore hoodies or beanie hats.
They made off on foot in the direction of Highworth Rec, which is opposite the garage.
Anyone with information should call Swindon CID on 01793 528111. In December 2003, staff were shaken when intruders used a brick to smash their way into the garage.
They got away with £600 worth of cigarettes and caused £3,000 damage to the kiosk.
